About the Founder

Magdalena Pintos

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate."
- Carl Jung

Magdalena (Maggie) Pintos is the founder of Viva Aum Yoga, an E‑RYT 500 educator, and a mind‑body practitioner with a multicultural background. Born in Argentina and raised in the United States, she is bilingual in Spanish and English and enjoys learning new languages as part of her curiosity about human behavior, communication, and culture.

Maggie began practicing yoga at a young age after experiencing a deep sense of calm during Śavāsana, a moment that sparked her interest in the nervous system, embodiment, and the psychology of inner peace. She holds a B.S. in Psychology, is trained in Reiki Level 2 and Energy Medicine, and has completed over 700 hours of yoga training across the U.S. and India.

With more than 15 years of teaching experience, Maggie integrates movement science, breath physiology, nervous system regulation, and behavioral psychology into her classes. She believes in dedicated, consistent healing through physical movement and meditation, and her teaching style is intuitive yet grounded in alignment, breath mechanics, and functional movement principles.

Maggie is both observant and empathetic, approaching each student with attunement and care. Her work bridges conditioning, science, and spirituality, helping individuals understand themselves through multiple frameworks—cognitive, somatic, and energetic.

She has led workshops, supported teacher trainings, and developed programs that blend yogic philosophy with evidence‑informed mind‑body practices. Her approach centers on svadhyaya—self‑study—as a practical tool for emotional regulation, resilience, and well‑being.

Outside her professional work, Maggie enjoys traveling, hiking, sewing, dancing to electronic music, reading, exploring, and spending time with her dogs. Meditation remains her daily grounding practice and the foundation of her well‑being.

Vision

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life, and you will call it fate."

- Carl Jung

As the founder of Viva Aum Yoga, Magdalena (Maggie) Pintos creates spaces where breath, movement, and inner listening become pathways to healing. Born in Argentina and raised in the United States, Maggie carries a multicultural lens that shapes her teaching—fluid, intuitive, and deeply attuned to the human experience. She is bilingual in Spanish and English and loves learning new languages as a way of understanding people and the world more intimately.

Maggie discovered yoga at a young age, captivated by the profound peace she felt in Śavāsana—a moment that sparked a lifelong devotion to the inner journey. With a B.S. in Psychology, Reiki Level 2 & Energy Medicine training, and over 700 hours of yoga certifications from the U.S. and India, she blends ancient yogic wisdom with the subtle intelligence of energy and intuition.

Her teaching is rooted in svadhyaya—self‑study—and in the belief that healing unfolds through dedication to movement, breath, and meditation. Maggie is both observant and empathetic, guiding students with a presence that is gentle yet grounded. Her classes are intuitive, but always anchored in alignment, breath awareness, and proper functional movement.

In every space she holds, Maggie weaves together conditioning, science, and spirituality, helping students make sense of their inner landscape through multiple lenses. Her work invites others to soften, awaken, and reconnect with the deeper layers of themselves.

Outside the studio, Maggie is nourished by travel, nature, sewing, dancing to electronic music, reading, exploring, and time with her beloved dogs. Meditation remains her daily anchor and the heart of her personal practice.
